The Public Prosecutor Offices Committee (PPOC) is one of the Permanent Committees of JURISAI (art. 10, par. 2, St.) and its Chair is a member of the Governing Board.
Its functions, and the reasons of its establishment, are related to the objective of JURISAI to “Provide adequate representation to the organization and the functions of the Public Prosecutor, as an organ playing an essential role in the jurisdictional system, and foster dialogue and exchange of experiences among the prosecution’s offices of the participating SAIs” (art. 3, par. 2, lett. g), St.).
Following the decision taken by the General Assembly of JURISAI on October 8, 2024, the Committee is currently chaired by the Corte dei conti of Italy (SAI Italy), represented by its General Prosecutor.
